How many chloroplasts are there in a plant cell?

20-100

It is important to know that organelles called chloroplasts allow plants to capture the energy of the Sun in energy-rich molecules.  Their main role is to conduct photosynthesis.  The main idea is that they contain green pigments.  The number of chloroplasts in plant cells differs for unicellular and plant leaf cells.  This signifies that a unicellular plant may have only a single large chloroplast while a plant leaf cell may have as many as 20 to 100.
