How many blue whales are there in the world?

5000 to 12000

It is widely known the fact that the blue whale is a marine mammal belonging to the baleen whales.  Keep in mind that the blue whale is the largest known animal in the world.  It has 30 meters in length and 170 tons in weight.  There are between 5000 to 12000 blue whales in the world.  It is interesting to know the fact that blue whales are not easy to catch or kill. It is important to know that due to their enormous size, power and speed, adult blue whales have virtually no natural predators.
