It is widely known the fact that the Church of England is the officially established Christian church in England.  Needless to say, it is the Mother Church of the worldwide Anglican Communion.  Not too many people know the fact that the active bishops of the Church of England are usually either diocesan bishops or suffragan bishops.  There are 44 diocesan bishops in the Church of England.  Keep in mind the fact that 1.7 million people take part in a Church of England service each month.
