How many Beetle species are there?

Over 350,000 beetle species

It is important to know the fact there are over 350,000 Beetle species described, with many more beetles yet to be discovered.  Not too many people know the fact that Beetles, under the class known as Coleoptera, are considered to make up at least quarter of the animal kingdom.   Needless to say, Beetles are the largest group of animals, representing one fifth of all known living organisms and one fourth of all animals.  Beetles differ in range of size, color, and form.
