How many axillary lymph nodes are there?

20 to 30.

There are between 20 to 30 axillary lymph nodes in the human body. Axillary lymph nodes are responsible for draining immune cell-containing lymph from the upper limbs, chest, trunk, and lower neck. The axillary lymph nodes are further subdivided into five groups ‘“ the lateral or brachial, anterior or pectoral, posterior or subscapular, central, and medial/subclavicular/apical axillary lymph nodes.
