How much Atlantic salmon is there?

Low levels

It is important to know that the Atlantic salmon is a fish in the family Salmonidae, which is found in the northern Atlantic Ocean and in rivers that flow into the north Atlantic.  Keep in mind that because of global warming, some southern populations in Spain and other warm countries are expected to be extirpated soon.   There is a significant decrease in the number of Atlantic salmon.  Unfortunately, by 2000 the numbers of Atlantic salmon had dropped to critically low levels.
