How many Amazon prime subscribers are there?

It is widely known the fact that prime members are great customers for Amazon. Believe it or not, in 2012, they were about 4 percent of Amazon’s active customer base.  By the way, 182 million people represent the active base.  These persons generally spend more than twice as much as non-prime customers.  For example, prime members spent $1,224 a year while non-prime customers who only spent $505.  There are 10 million Amazon prime subscribers.  This is definitely something.
