How many alphabets are there in Hindi?

Not too many people know the fact that the standard Hindi alphabet, as agreed by the Government of India, has 11 vowels and 35 consonants. On the other hand, the traditional Hindi alphabet is considered to be made of 13 vowels and 33 consonants.  In 1991 there were 180 million Hindi native speakers.  It is also interesting to mention the fact that Hindi is written in Devanagari alphabet and draws vocabulary from Sanskrit.  Keep in mind that Hindi has many different styles and speech registers.
