More than 60 wine regions
Believe it or not, Australia’s wine industry has grown from a few small plantings to an extremely popular industry. It is widely known that Australia offers a wide range of wine regions. Keep in mind that there are about 60 wine-producing regions throughout Australia. It is interesting to know that vineyards in South Australia (Barossa Valley, Clare Valley, Coonawarra),Victoria (e.g. Swan Hill, Yarra Valley, Rutherglen) and New South Wales (e.g. Hunter Valley, Mudgee, Riverina) produce most of Australia’s wine.
