Ac-cording to a study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association, men who ejaculated at least 21 times in a month were less likely to suffer from pros-tate cancer. Frequent sex can therefore lower the risk of prostate cancer in men.

8. Sex helps in better sleep
Orgasms help in improving sleep. Following sex, a hormone known as oxytocin is released. Oxytocin has a sedative effect and results into better sleep. One may fall asleep after sex because of the effects of oxytocin in their body.

9. Sex helps in lowering stress
Orgasms during sex result in the release of endorphins. Endorphins are hormones which help one to feel good. Production of endorphins following orgasm is therefore helpful in relieving stress.
