The 2005 Drugs Act amended the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 to state that magic mushrooms, in any form (e.g. dried or stewed), containing psilocin or psilocybin are characterized as Class A drugs and to have it or to sell/give it is an punishable offence and a serious crime. The victim can get upto 7 years of imprisonment or/with an unlimited fine.
