Derrick Rose was born on October 4th, 1988 in Chicago, Illinois. His physical attributes include a height of 6 foot 3 inches and a weight of 190 lbs.

Fact 1. During Derrick Rose’s growing up years, his older brothers Dwayne, Reggie, and Allan protected him and took control of his life including monitoring his friends, schoolwork, and his coaches.

Fact 2.  Derrick Rose came from a family consisting of a single mother with four sons. The area where he grew up Englewood, Chicago was full of gangs and poor schools in the midst of dire poverty.

Fact 9. Derrick was a member of the U.S. team that won the gold medal at the 2010 World Championship of Basketball.
