Naruto Uzumaki is a shinobi from the village Konohagakure. He became the jinchūriki of the Nine-Tails on the day of his birth, when his father, the Fourth Hokage, sealed the beast into his new born son at the cost of his life. This fate led Naruto to be ostracized by most of Konoha during his childhood. Becoming a part of the prestigious Team Kakashi pushed Naruto to work even harder in the hopes of gaining the village’s approval and respect. His greatest dream in life is to become Hokage. Throughout the series we see Naruto grow to become an excellent ninja, becoming revered and even celebrated as a hero in hundreds of villages, eventually becoming a hero to the rest of the world as well. His victory during the Fourth Shinobi World War led him to achieve his dream and become the Seventh Hokage Nanadaime Hokage. Fact 1: Naruto Uzumaki, the strongest (and nosiest) ninja of them all, who is also the bearer of the Nine-tailed fox and not to mention the greatest Hokage to go down in history, was modeled after the SuperSaiyan mode of Son Goku! Blondes really do have more fun. Son Goku and Naruto both share the same energy, resilience, and mischievous personality. Naruto sports blond spikey hair, an orange jumpsuit, three whisker marks on each cheek, and a love for Ramen that is unmatched. His catch phrase is “Believe It!”.

Fact 2: Our favorite ninja is actually voiced by a woman! Junko Takeuchi is the voice behind our favorite characters Naruto, Minato, and even Kushina!

Fact 3: Kabuto is named after the Pokémon Kabuto! It seems as though the creator of Naruto loved to watch a lot of Dragon Ball-Z and Pokémon during his spare time!

Fact 4: Jiraiya had taught Naruto one of his the Summoning Technique, in which offering a certain amount of chakra allowed Naruto to summon the toads of Mount Myōboku as allies. At first, he was only able to summon young toads and tadpoles such as the younger versions of Gamakichi or Gamatatsu due to his poor chakra control. At first, he could only summon larger toads when influenced by the power of the Nine Tailed Fox. However, over time, his control improved tremendously. He’s able to summon Gamabunta!

Fact 5: Another trademark technique of Naruto’s would be the Rasengan. An A-rank technique, the Rasengan was created by Naruto’s father. The chakra is manipulated and is transformed into its highest point. It takes the shape of a ball and is a versatile and powerful attack that is very difficult to master. At the beginning, Naruto needed the assistance of a shadow clone to pull off the technique. Later on, he even mastered two Rasengans at once! One in each hand.

Fact 6: Naruto’s tenacity, passion, empathetic, friendly and undeniable charismatic nature has allowed him to build great relationships with the people he meets. It’s no surprise that throughout the series, Hinata Hyuga and Sakura Haruno both develop feelings for Naruto!

Fact 7: He was chosen to be a part of Team 7, under Kakashi Hatake’s leadership. His team mates were Sasuke Uchiha of the famous Uchiha clan, and Sakura Haruno.

Fact 8: The goggles Naruto used to wear during earlier versions of the manga were replaced with the leaf village headband because the goggles were too time consuming to draw!

Fact 9: Deidara and Ino were modeled the same way and even share the same exact hair style and hair color!

Fact 10: Before his mother died, she wished that her son would be best friends with her own best friend’s child. Naruto’s mother was close friends with Sasuke Uchiha’s mother and loved her dearly! They were destined to be the best of friends; regardless of the times they’re throat to throat in battle.
