He was one of the best pop stars of the 90s, an unbelievable rapper, a noteworthy actor and an incredible human being. He was named after Túpac Amaru II, a well known 18th century South American revolutionary. His name, Tupac Amaru meant shining serpent and Shakur meant thankful to god.
