Introduction: After Iraq invaded Kuwait and was subsequently defeated, the country was invaded by a United States-led coalition. The US and the other countries that participated in the invasion justified their action by saying that Iraq was developing weapons of mass destruction. (No such weapons were found). This invasion brought down the Saddam Hussein regime. It is believed that more than one hundred and fifty thousand Iraqis were killed during the first few years of war. The United Sates left the country in two thousand and eleven but became involved again in two thousand and fourteen.
